Abstract
Examining Nabih Berri’s political stands during 30 years as the leader of Amal and almost two decades as the Lebanese speaker is a relatively easy task. One reason for that is that Berri has expressed himself numerous times in the media regarding every issue on the agenda. Another reason is that Berri’s declarations and principles were usually consistent even though a gap between his statements and actions appeared from time to time.
