Abstract

In this chapter we examine democratic values and Panamanians’ support for democratic political stability. The analysis we use in this chapter is based on a framework developed by Mitchell A. Seligson, in which support for the political system and support for political tolerance are requisites for democratic political stability (Seligson 2000).
