Abstract
So what would a “disciplined” service-learning look like? How does the philosophy and pedagogy of service-learning become transformed from an all-encompassing movement to an academic discipline? What exactly would a student study? What are the guiding texts, the underlying assumptions, the modes of practice that would guide such an academic field? Or to put it in “undergraduate-speak”: “Can I major in service-learning?”
