Abstract
Scholars generally Agree that Luther and Calvin lack interest in the theology of the Holy Spirit’s involvement in creation. Most think that Luther focuses primarily on the Word of promise and on justification in a forensic sense, while Calvin underscores the theological subject matter in light of the sovereignty of God. However, the significance and radicality of what Luther and Calvin bring to the theology of creation is their powerful sense of the Spirit’s presence and activity in creaturely lives.
