Abstract

Leadership has become a buzz word in educational and youth development circles. Youth workers, teachers, coaches, curriculum specialists, and professional development university faculty face increasing advocacy for more and better youth development programs. We have mentioned some of these specific programs, but our focus has been on our own work with kids and that of our former students and like-minded colleagues.

I feel like I am respected because children listen to what I am saying and they take it to heart.
