Abstract

The first part of this book offered a rationale for the study of collocation in literary texts, particularly in Dickens, including a discussion of proposed methodologies. There have been few satisfactory literary collocational investigations to date, with the result that many research approaches in the area of literary collocation have yet to be explored.
