Abstract
Self-psychological approach to the 1907 Korean Revival Movement sheds light on the role of religious experiences as selfobject experiences and, thereby, informs how a religion can be relevant to human beings and their psychological maturation. The implications of this discussion about the relationship between religious experiences and psychological maturation make several suggestions for the present Korean Protestant churches to help them become more relevant selfobjects to the Korean people today.
