Abstract

Throughout the past century, many fans stood out in their clubs and gained notoriety in the eyes of their respective supporters. Since at least the 1930s, even before the founding of the official organized fans, there were supporters who were given nicknames such as “ambassadors” or “fan leaders.” They were responsible for representing the whole crowd base at the stadium or even when traveling abroad. It was they who enthusiastically demonstrated the support for their teams, evidenced through proving their selflessness and self-sacrifice.
