Second NPRC Military Coup and Elections Before Peace
This chapter discusses the National Provisional Ruling Council (NPRC) junta and a palace coup that led to Strasser’s overthrow by his own comrades. It focuses on the 1996 elections and the transfer of power to the civilian government of President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah.
