Rejection is everywhere in life. It is part of the human experience. Yet we rarely talk about rejection in meaningful ways, choosing to address it on a case-by-case basis. “Don’t worry, you can just edit your article and submit it to another journal.” “You’ll definitely get funded next time.” “Your dissertation proposal still needs a lot of work.”
