Abstract

We focus on the qualitative evidence that supports this type of programming through the stories of specific participants in a variety of community-based learning programs (not just our own). We believe the proof of transformation lies in real-life stories. These stories are told in many different voices, as we all have had insight into our own experiences. We hear from students and teachers, from parents and community members, and provide evidence in our own voices, as we observed and experienced the magic of the arts.
