Abstract

This chapter further explores, through Judy Freedman Fask’s eyes, issues of social justice and the ability of the arts to be used as a tool to confront and challenge cultural norms, especially in relation to disABILITY. This chapter includes personal stories from people Judy has worked with in other programs that incorporated arts and community-based learning. These programs and others are the foundation upon which she continues to build and create new programs, like the ones described in this book.
