A Month of Climate Change in Australia: A Corpus-Driven Analysis of Media Discourse

Abstract

This research explored the potential of a corpus-driven approach to discourse analysis, specifically the analysis of online media discourses surrounding the issue of climate change. It examined a pilot corpus of texts drawn from the main online news sources accessed by the Australian public over a period of one month: September 2013.
