Abstract
Henry’s case study describes how her personal storytelling work with older people from the Grange Day Centre in Newcastle was a means to tell stories through Digital Storytelling and the creation of a ceramic public work of art. She describes how two artists from different artforms collaborated over two years with older people and adapted their practice to create distinct, but complementary work exploring life experiences. Her piece reflects on the adaptations to practice needed to accommodate the needs of older people on a long term project and describes the therapeutic and social benefits of the programme for participants.
