Abstract

This concluding chapter underlines how the two parties’ radical identity is at risk because of their decision to “manage capitalism”—an act that prioritizes maintaining power over the parties’ social vision. It addresses a number of important issues consequent to their decision to pursue government, and relevant to their handling of the executive branch. The chapter also highlights some possible implications for future research on radical Left parties.
