Abstract

Black Queer Ethics, Family, and Philosophical Ethics is Young’s effort to deepen and broaden ethical norms of family that emerge from black queerness. In “Reflections on Black Queer Morality and Family,” she advocates for an ethics of human relationships guided by interdependent subjectivity and argues that such relations exemplify the fundamental (and complicated) values that the research participants in this project articulate.
