Abstract

Although Lady Gaga is primarily known as a pop singer, the performer has also been involved in other musical styles and, additionally, has engaged in artistic forms besides music. In this chapter, the various styles and artistic expressions of Lady Gaga are analyzed, especially her adoption of rock music from within the world of pop, which has been part of her work since early on in her career, as well as her involvement in jazz and other art forms, which she has been involved with in more recent years once her fame was established. The mixture of various styles in her artistry is one of the outstanding characteristics of Lady Gaga that has gained her special attention and thus contributed to her fame.
