Abstract
New York City faces a variety of water-, energy-, and food-related nexus pressures that are detrimental to the development of a green economy. To reduce nexus pressures, the city uses a variety of fiscal and non-fiscal tools that create interdependencies and synergies between the nexus systems while reducing trade-offs between the systems in its pursuit of green growth.
