Abstract
Mychael Danna discusses the score of Life of Pi (2012). Danna goes into detail on the subject of his relationship with Ang Lee, Indian music, commercial imperatives behind the making of the film, and important narrative and thematic influences on the music he composed for the film. He also discusses his scores for the films Little Miss Sunshine (2006) and Moneyball (2011).
