Abstract
This chapter works with learning examples, not teaching examples. ECM is demonstrated by the use of movies and theatre pieces that readers may already know or can easily explore. This allows the reader to be involved: to follow and understand the analysis and the use of the method that the author gives, but not necessarily to agree. There is no advice given to follow the author’s example but instead an invitation to readers to explore these examples of conflicts themselves. They can draw their own conclusions by using ECM, rather than depending on the author’s narrative. The examples given may be used for individual learning or as didactic tools for training and study.
