Abstract
The post-script covers the ongoing episode of partial cooperation in Turkey–Iraq relations. At the time of writing, the Syrian civil war had been deeply internationalized. Furthermore, Turkey has been dragged into a spiral of violence instigated by two terrorist organizations: ISIS (Islamic State in Iraq and Syria) and PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party). In response, Turkey has conducted first direct military operations against ISIS targets and resumed military operations against PKK safe havens located in northern areas of Iraq and Syria. Given enduring contextual conditions, Turkey–Iraq cooperation would most likely remain partial even until the coming of the first centennial.
