Abstract

I tried to contact Dharma in February 2014. I sent him an SMS on his Melbourne phone telling him I was in Punjab and would like his consent to interview his family in India. When I didn’t hear back the next day I thought it could be his way of refusing and let it rest. One day later I heard from a mutual friend in Melbourne that Dharma was dead. Dead at 25. His scooter collided with a truck in Patiala and he died instantly.
