Abstract
The conclusion summarizes the main messages of the book. First, Edward Said’s representations of the intellectual are used as a way of redefining the roles and positions of the interculturalist in education, preferring the ‘amateur interculturalist’ position to that of the ‘professional interculturalist’. Second, ten commandments of interculturality in education are put forward. These commandments can easily guide readers to ‘test’ their understanding of the book’s theoretical and methodological toolbox.
