Abstract
This book clearly articulates the benefits of internationalization at US community colleges. The theories, research, and case studies assess prior advancements and skillfully offer solutions that have been proven and examined for their efficacy. US community colleges have the most diversified student body of any post-secondary institution and it is a foregone conclusion that educational offerings and services have an obligation to produce citizenry who have knowledge and skills that will both prepare them for a globally competitive workforce and that allow them to take their role in a culturally and pluralistically diverse world. It is this nexus between international education and student success that ultimately serves local communities and corporations, while allowing students to excel in the race to the top.
