Abstract
DQ has the potential to positively impact the career development of all employees. Some employees have been denied career development opportunities because of a lack of understanding of their ability to learn and attain new knowledge, skills, and abilities. Many false assumptions are held by leaders that have been allowed to hinder the career development potential of protected class group members.
