Abstract
This conclusion summarizes the study’s findings and assesses the remit of diversity policies in view of a potential backlash against diversity and of comparing its ideas with those of multiculturalism. I also develop a nuanced delineation of my findings by pointing out the similarities as well as some of the differences across the three cities. Finally, I discuss several directions for refining the diversity concept and propose several ways in which future research might contribute.
