Abstract
This chapter will identify and discuss the practical application of sustainable resources. It offers illustrative activities in terms of lesson planning, using simple but effective aims and objectives for learning outcomes. It guides the reader through a process, carefully examining and reflecting on ethical issues such as the production, consumption and recycling of resources. Engaging in the practice of critical thinking allows us to deconstruct our taken-for-granted assumptions and views of the world. Classroom activities such as mapping and visual images can focus our attention on the key issues associated with the consumption of resources and their disposal, e-waste in particular. It guides the reader through a process whereby we can challenge dominant ideology and reflect on ethical issues within the life cycle of resources.
