Abstract

Corporations are beginning to see that subversion—the readiness to go against the grain and the ability to critique it—is a valuable attribute. Previously, organizations have looked for conformity. How can they make the cultural shift from one to the other? The prize, if they manage it, is a workforce of individuals with a strong sense of their values and the capacity to bring these into their daily decisions, connecting deeply with their purpose.
