Abstract
This book is about the current, new Brazilian economy, which is also a foundation for the country’s future. Since the majority of the readers of this book are expected to be non-Brazilians, it is important to start this volume with a very short introduction to the economic history of the country, from its inception until now, and this is the only chapter in this book, along with the introduction, by a non-Brazilian.
