Outlooks and Conclusions on Entrepreneurial Universities in Innovation-Seeking Countries

Abstract

The transformation of universities into new entrepreneurial-like models with different organizational structures and strategic goals is still under way in both innovation leaders and followers. Worldwide, universities are in a period of change, which reflects the global transition from an industrial to a knowledge society. Since this transformation is not finished, the role of universities is also vague and ambiguous.
