Abstract

AREA AND POPULATION. The area is 35 sq. miles. Attached to Anguilla is Sombrero a small island in the Leeward Islands group (area, 2 sq. miles.) Phosphate of lime exists in limited quantities. There is a Board of Trade lighthouse. Population (1980) 6,500.
