Abstract

Isabel II., Queen of Spain, born October 10, 1830, the eldest daughter of King Fernando VII., and of Princess Maria Christina of the Two Sicilies; succeeded to the throne at the death of her father, September 29, 1833; proclaimed Queen at Madrid, October 2, 1833; declared of age by decree of the Cortes, November 8, 1813; married, October 10, 1846, to her first cousin
