Abstract

From time to time, since the Middle East Peace Network (MEPN) took off eight months ago, I have been hearing, generally indirectly, from people asking, “What happened to Shai? He has become a leftist.” This branding came to me first as a surprise, given my right-wing upbringing. I was bewildered, I must say. But then I realized that is the “price” I pay; as a supporter of peace, I am automatically categorized by some as “leftist,” although I am neither right nor left.
