Gustaf V, born 16 June, 1858. Succeeded to the throne on the death of his father, Oscar II, 8 December, 1907. Married, 20 September, 1881, to Princess Victoria, born 7 August, 1862, died 4 April, 1930, daughter of Friedrich, Grand Duke of Baden.
