Abstract

Wilhelmina Helena Pauline Maria, born 31 August, 1880, daughter of the late King Willem III, and of his second wife, Princess Emma, born 2 August, 1858 (died 20 March, 1934), daughter of Prince George Victor of Waldeck; succeeded to the throne on the death of her father, 23 November, 1890: came of age 31 August, 1898, and was crowned 6 September of that year; widow of Prince Henry of Mecklenburg- Schwerin, born 19 April, 1876 (died 3 July, 1934). Offspring: Princess Juliana, Louise Emma Marie Wilhelmina, born 30 April, 1909, married to Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld (born 29 June, 1911), on 7 January, 1937. Offspring: Princess Beatrix Wilhelmina Armgard, born 31 January, 1938; Princess Irene Emma Elisabeth, born 5 August, 1939; Princess Margriet Francisca, born in Ottawa, 19 January, 1943; Princess Maria Christina, born 18 February, 1947.
