Gustaf V, born June 16, 1858. Succeeded to the throne on the death of his father, Oscar II, December 8, 1907. Married, September 20, 1881, to Princess Victoria, born August 7, 1862, died April 4, 1930, daughter of Friedrich, Grand Duke of Baden.
