Abstract
The tremendous growth of new technologies, the explosion of knowledge and access to it have opened up a new horizon and produced a fertile ground of massive entrepreneurial opportunities. Start-ups phenomenon is already changing the economic landscape and creating new enterprises with immense potentials. While entrepreneurs are embracing technologies en masse, social entrepreneurship is still lagging in seizing the novel possibilities that are out there. In the conclusion of the book, we reflect upon the inevitability of the transformation of this sector to the knowledge-based one.
