Abstract

We present here a Refined Structure Algorithm for Generalized (or Singular, Implicit, Descriptor,…) Linear Systems which separates some structural information coming from the “purely algebraic” part of the system and that coming from the “purely dynamic” part; more particularly, this algorithm allows us to provide new algebraic characterizations for the four different types of invariant zeros at infinity.
