Abstract
In order to confirm the models of mutual interactions in three- or four-component surfactant systems the experimental determinations of the electrophoretic mobility u +0− (cm2 s−1 V−1) as a function of the molal ratios n/y, k/h, and x/y were carried out. The polycomponent models are (nRhod+ + yCl2−SO −4 )0− + (xBlue+ + yCl2−SO −4 )+0− and (kCl2−NH +3 + hFluo−)0 + (xBlue+ + yCl2−SO −4 )0 where n, y, x, k, and h correspond to molal fractions. The five chemically different surfactants were used to obtain polycomponent surfactant colloids. The behavior of all examined systems suggests nonuniform mutual interactions.
