Abstract
Polymer blends and semi-1-IPN’s based on EVA and PMMA were evaluated with regard to phase dispergation and glass transition behavior. The size of the dispersed PMMA phase in melt-mixing blends, linear blends and semi-1-IPN’s was examined. It can be concluded that the prepared blends and IPN’s are phase separated, but in semi-IPN’s the degree of dispergation is enhanced. The dependence of the glass transition temperature on the degree of crosslinking of EVA and the EVA content in the prepared blends and IPN’s is discussed.
