Abstract

The segmental orientation of uniaxially strained cis-polybutadiene networks containing deuterated polybutadiene and filled with carbon black was probed by measuring the quadrupolar splitting in 2H NMR experiments. The quadrupolar splitting and the line shape are not influenced by the filler content. Possible reasons of this unexpected behavior are discussed.
