Electrical properties of 1,4-cis polybutadiene

Abstract

Electrical properties of thin 1,4-cis polybutadiene films in the temperature range 150K–390K have been characterized by means of current-voltage characteristics, and also by thermally stimulated current (TSC) measurements. The TSC spectra have been discussed in terms of molecular relaxations connected with the glass transition and crystallization phenomena. Trap parameters have been determined using the relations proposed by Grossweiner and Zhdan.
