Abstract
The expression for the relative change in the network shear modulus during time (relaxation process) has been calculated using the concept of topological constraint release effects. The length distribution of the chains between two neighbouring cross-link points is taken into account in the calculation . The expression obtained is compared to theoretical results gained from other concepts and with some experimental results.
