Adsorption of surfactants at the kaolinite-water interface: A calorimetric study

Abstract

The adsorption of pyridinium salts on kaolinite was investigated by measuring the adsorption density, the heat of displacement and the floatability. From the results, we can conclude that the adsorption occurs in three steps and depends very much on the counter ions of the surfactants.
