Characteristic times in superconductors

Abstract

Nonequilibrium processes in superconductors involve a variety of characteristic times. A general picture of these times, their relative importance in various circumstances, and their magnitudes has emerged during the last few years. Our current theoretical and experimental knowledge of these characteristic times is reviewed.
