Abstract

A survey on recent progress in semimagnetic semiconductor structures is presented with special emphasis on low dimensional effects like tunable band offsets by exploiting excitonic Zeeman splitting, on progress in molecular beam epitaxy growth, on magnetisation studies and on results of neutron diffraction experiments on short period antiferromagnetic/diamagnetic superlattice structures.
