Abstract
As Peter Scheuer noted in the summary talk of a previous Ringberg meeting, I cannot possibly do justice to all speakers, and I probably cannot avoid doing injustice to some. Instead of a formal summary, then, what follows is my personal impression of this delightful meeting, and of the state of our knowledge of its topic, M 87.
