VLA 7mm images of the M 87 jet

The Radio Galaxy Messier 87

Abstract

We report observations of M 87 with the VLA at 7 mm in the A-array. The image with 35 mas resolution shows the inner jet structure out to 400 mas from the core and as well has the unresolved leading edge of knot A.
