Abstract
The formalism of the S-matrix for interacting electromagnetic field and half-spin particle field is considered. Particle field quantization is carried out according to a scheme suggested in the works of (Green (1953)) and the author (Volkov (1959)). It is shown that the basic concepts of the conventional theory of S-matrices (N-product, Wick’s theorem, Feynman graphs) allow a simple generalization within the framework of the quantization scheme considered.
