Spectral evolution of galaxies

Part I The Universe at High-z
Part of the Lecture Notes in Physics book series (LNP, volume 470)

We review models of spectral evolution of galaxies and current constraints set by observations at high redshifts on the formation and evolution of galaxies. These lectures assume previous basic knowledge of the general properties of stars and galaxies.
